Quick and fun

Sometimes erotica feels grounded in reality - sometimes it ventures into complete and total fantasy. This book is definitely the latter. The heroine is a strong independent woman that almost no actual reader can relate to - ultra rich, ultra beautiful, ultra high libido, her adventures in the porn industry only add to the feeling that this protagonist is not like anyone the reader would ever meet in real life. Obviously the book is packed with steamy scenes, and it was refreshing to see the author choose to explore some of the less attractive parts of the porn industry. I thought the relationships in the book felt authentic though rushed, and the pacing and plot were good. The author did some really weird things with dialogue, both from Bethany and Honey, another porn star, that jolted me out of the story somewhat, and the inevitable ending was obvious from about 50% of the way in.
Overall, a fun if somewhat mindless read, quick and entertaining, but not something the reader feels particularly good about when it's over. Kinda like the porn it's based on, I guess.

Finding love in porn...

Reading the description of the book you really don't expect to find love or even any sweet emotions in it. Yet that is exactly what this book delivers. Along with a healthy dose of steam of course. Bethany wants excitement and something different in her life. She is bored with her nursing job and desperately wants to experience life. She enjoys sex and after discovering that the man that she has had a crush on, Ari, is a porn producer, she decides that she wants to be a pornstar. Why not get payed for something that she loves doing? Even though she has a hard time convincing Ari to give her a chance, he finally gives in. What Bethany doesn't expect is to find love amid all this.
This is a book filled with one hot love scene after another and yet it is still emotional. I've never read a threesome in which all three parties felt so much love and lust for eachother. It genuining felt like they loved and cared for one another. A sweet and hot read!

Deeper than part 1

This was so good on it own, but first let me begin with my disappointment. I LOVED the first book. I loved how it was funny and awkward and totally crazy. I expected the same thing with this one. I was disappointed in that. This is nothing like the first and I hate to say I am fearful for the release because I feel like there will be bad reviews from people picking up part 2 and expecting a redo of part 1. So let me be the first to say that if that is all you want DO NOT READ THIS. This book is so much deeper than part 1. It takes a weird premise of shooting porn and gives the reader a true romance behind the scenes. The scenes were HOT and left you feeling satisfied. The only issue I had was the ending when they had an issue coming to the conclusion the reader did 7 chapters before. Other than that this is a good story of a developing threesome and hot steamy scenes with all the characters. So I encourage readers to pick up this book looking for some steam and romance not the amusement from the first!
