Highly readable - an excellent source of practical info on using FPDF (and TCPDF if you really can't do without the advanced features).
If you have been struggling to get by using only the online docs, then you need this book!

Excellent for report writing and label making

Very clear instructions on automatically generating pdf's from php apps. We use FPDF for producing bar code and product labels in an automated manufacturing system.

Good Job By The Author

I bought this book for use with TCPDF even though the author presents his work as primarily aimed at FPDF. The book covers about 99% of the functionality but there are enough code examples and explanations by the author to get you through almost any common usage of both FPDF and TCPDF. The 1% that he doesn't cover, you'll probably never use.
It's well done and author's explanations of his coding are easy to understand.
