The book is nicely divided into two parts, one on basic physics concepts, the other on several sports. The only thing I missed is a quantitative evaluation of the sports themselves, but this is easily done with the material given. As a physics professor and a book author, I have to hand it to Hay. Working With Who We Are

This short book first had me reacting with two thoughts:
1. This is VERY SHORT
2. The title page isn't very fancy

Then, as I read, I realized - he's right. I immediately started with some negative thinking when I began to read. It's more pervasive than we realize. And the short book makes it clear the best way to alleviate the problem and be much happier and saner. I particularly liked his pet rock analogy - read till you get there. It clearly shows how this works - we can change how we think about things. It's an interesting perspective.

Give it a try. The investment is small and if you follow his advice, you stand to gain a lot.

Short but informative read on the role negative thinking plays in our thoughts and bodies. Gives a new perspective on how to face the negatives and work through them rather than disregard them.
